Miss Adams of Canton Named Sky Pilot First Woman Pilot
Miss Bernetta Adams of Canton Ohio becomes the only woman in the United States holding an Aero Club of America aviator license. She trained in Westbury New York achieving 60 miles per hour and 1600 feet altitude in a series of flights aboard the motorhome.
