Governor Johnson Undergoes Intestinal Abscess Operation
In Rochester Minnesota Governor Johnson was operated on for a deep seated intestinal abscess by Dr. William Mayo and Dr. Charles Mayo. The two hour fifty three minute operation ended successfully but the doctors warn the governor remains in serious condition with recovery possible but not assured for several days. Mrs Johnson visited his bedside and later reported he rested as easily as possible.
