Police hunted Mary C. Weaver a 14 year old Walnut Hills girl who vanished from her home Friday evening. She left after returning from 4 PM and was seen later with a playmate. she may resemble a 16 year old with dark bobbed hair and a small scar on the upper lip. Also missing are Louis E. Larson a 48 year old real estate dealer last seen in Columbus Ohio and James Myers a 31 year old teamster reported missing for a year.
The Prince of Wales watched an international polo contest at Meadowbrook with keen interest, applauding pivotal British plays and greeting players after the fourth period. He also played polo later, entertained Long Island friends at dinner, and attended a dance after the match.

Police investigated reports of missing persons to identify a man with amnesia held in Spencer County Jail Rockport Indiana. Authorities said he may be a Cincinnati resident, and Cincinnati police were informed yesterday.
At Geneva the League of Nations subcommittee debating a security and disarmament pact clashed over separate arbitration matters. France prevailed in insisting any new convention be distinct yet linked to a disarmament conference. Dr Eduard Benes was named to draft the convention text as a basis for further talks. France also urged amending Paragraph 7 of Article 15 to push all disputes toward arbitration, a proposal that drew cautious support but no final decision.
Lieutenants Lowell H. Smith and five other aviators returned to Dayton after a 420 mile hop from Washington completing the initial leg of their transcontinental flight to Seattle. News from Sofia reports an armed raid near Kostenez, twenty miles from the capital, led by the notorious Communist Kuzo lesifoff. Bandits attacked Kostenez railway station, drove off officials, cut telegraph and telephone lines, seized a large sum of money, and fled into the woods as police and cavalry pursue them.
James J. Martin age 37 and John J. Trautman 45 of Martin and Trautman plumbing were killed instantly when their auto skidded and hit a telephone pole near Columbus. Frank R. Flynn 48 was seriously injured and taken to a hospital. The firm had a contract to install fixtures at Fort Hayes hotel and workers were kept away after the deaths.
