A Monon Railroad crossing accident near Bloomington on September 12 killed Isaac Kay, a former boy, and injured two brothers. The vessel, with two sister cutters, is intended for revenue service on the lakes despite Canadian cutters carrying steel rams and a naval emphasis. South Bend Indiana report states six year old Kopinsii died today after a rusty nail puncture. Medical details not provided. The incident occurred in the local area and authorities were notified.

Frantz, under guard, may have misled investigators about the weapon’s fate as authorities pursue a sold revolver description. The prisoner’s fiancé, a respectable young lady, is said to be distressed by the affair and the investigation may move to a close tomorrow.

Stalnaker said the group aims to defeat Bryan and free silver nationally, not engage in state politics unless it affects the national ticket.
