At 3 10 pm a bomb exploded in the crowded Federal Building entrance injuring over seventy five and killing four. The I W W is blamed by Justice officials, with raids and arrests following. Haywood and other leaders were nearby. the blast shattered windows on two blocks, drawing 1500 agents and police to the scene.

Two Aviators Injured After Plane Strikes Tree Near Indianapolis
Two aviators flying from Dayton to the Speedway at Indianapolis were seriously injured when their aircraft struck a tree and fell about fifty feet near the State Fair grounds.
