Severed Arm Carried in Hand By Injured Man
William Whit taker of 652 Hawthorne avenue lost his left forearm near Midland City when a Siedger train wheels cut it off. He boarded a Baltimore & Ohio passenger train, wrapped the severed limb in brown paper, and carried it in his right hand to City Hospital. He is 35, a gager, and his condition is listed as serious.
