Wreck on Ontario Rail Line Kills Six and Injures 250
A Canadian Pacific train carrying over 300 passengers to the Toronto exhibition derailed near Horseshoe Falls nine miles south of Orangeville Ontario. Six died and over 250 were injured as five crowded coaches piled on the locomotive after the engine failed to slow at a high speed through the Horseshoe Curve. The engineer escaped unharmed. The wreck occurred after the train arrived an hour late and the locomotive jumped the rails on the down grade.

Fire fighters and police subdued him after a water hose was used Jailer Jeffreys and officers dragged him to a cell. Ford had recently been jailed for safekeeping at his mother's request.
