Dan O'Leary the 63 year old famed pedestrian completed a 1000 mile walk in 1000 consecutive hours at Norwood Inn Park. The exhausted veteran finished amid cheering crowds after forty two sleepless days, resting only briefly between hourly miles.
William English Walling of Indianapolis and family members were seized in St Petersburg by gendarmes amid suspicions of aiding revolutionists. Oscar Schotte, 24, conductor from 1925 Freeman Avenue, was slightly injured after falling glass cut him when he jumped from a platform of his car. Ded Kaufman, 41, a white bookkeeper, was cut by broken glass and helped off the car by Kaufman. an unknown white woman aided another passenger and disappeared in the excitement.
