Chicago police report Andrew Cappallano of Bourbonnais admitted holding ten year old Billy Ranieri at the so called kidnapping farm in Herrin Illinois under orders from abductors demanding sixty thousand dollars. His wife Mane Cappallano and four of their ten children were located in Herrin with others held awaiting police. The boy identified Tony Cappallano as the man who brought cantaloupes to the farm and Mrs Cappallano recalled tending to Billy with prayers and holy water after the boy’s admission.
