A dry agent Robert O Gary 50 was killed and coroner Hugh Gadd wounded in a pistol fight at 825 Court Street in Hamilton. O T Wells known as Alabama, who had just left a veterans hospital, defended himself as Wells and Gary clashed over a raid and a search warrant. Wells is charged with first degree murder and held under police guard at Mercy Hospital.

Body of Slayer of Three Found Near Detroit
Detroit, Nov. 21. Richard Brusseau sought since Friday in the slayings of his wife and two sons died Saturday afternoon from a self inflicted head wound. He was found near a road twenty miles from Detroit with a pistol and three empty chambers. Mrs. Brusseau told police the family’s domestic troubles led to the shootings which killed Harold 11 and Richard Jr 7. Clifford the surviving son blamed his mother’s hair bobbing for the tragedy.
