A report details the Moscow and New Richmond robbery by Rick and Hanna. They smashed a safe at New Richmond Post Office, stole cash and stamps, and fled toward Cincinnati while exchanges warned police. Rick had prior prison time and links to Newport.
Dr Emerson praised the Health Federation at a Longview transfer to the state amid a diphtheria immunization program and health demonstrations. He urged government support, cited budget limits, and commended Cincinnati for improving air quality while Dr Julien Benjamin was re-elected president of the Public Health Federation.
Two warrants accuse a man and accomplices of entering the Murphy residence at 5733 Belmont Avenue College Hill on May 4 and the Morand home at 6074 Belmont Avenue on May 9. Anna Hart, living with Rick in Newport, is named in the Murphy burglary warrant. Police found a woman's shoe print on the Murphy porch. Rick, awaiting removal to Fort Knox to serve five years for receiving stolen goods, had earlier robbed Mueller’s jewelry store on Fairfield Avenue Bellevue last June. much of the loot was found with Rick and Mrs Haft at East Second Street. Mrs Haft is jailed in Newport on receiving stolen goods tied to the College Hill robberies.

General Leonard Colby veteran of Civil Indian and Spanish American Wars and once Assistant United States Attorney General under Harrison died in Beatrice Nebraska after a long illness at age 78. He led Nebraska bar for generations and was re elected District Judge on November 4. He helped quell an Indian uprising and raised funds for a Cuban republic. He leaves a widow and son Paul.
Herman Mack aged 53, head of the Lexington Hotel and former Chicago Hotel Men's Association president, died in Chicago after a brief illness. He previously served as an executive at Cleveland’s Hollenden Hotel.
Captain Henry H. Marmaduke aged 82, last surviving officer of the Merrimac from the Civil War, died in Washington on November 15.
In New York on November 15, Mrs. Margaret Sheridan rushed back from a visit to delay her grandmother’s funeral. While she was away a cab strike victim died at Bellevue Hospital. Relatives rushed to the hospital after learning of the accident, and the body was later moved to Bellevue morgue.
President and Mrs. Coolidge sail from Washington aboard the Mayflower for a weekend Potomac River cruise. The presidential party boarded through a covered gangplank as a snowstorm closed in, with no one seen on the upper deck. The voyage, planned to last until Monday morning, proceeds despite the weather.
Roy R. Roach a Watertown Wisconsin clerk in the mail car testified in Chicago that Willis Newton and Herbert Holliday, convicted robbers, took the mail pouches from his car during the Rondout Illinois incident last June. He traced the mail from Chicago to its disappearance in the robbers’ car forty miles north of the city.

Three hunters die or are wounded in separate accidental shootings across Ohio. Charles Piper, 16, died in Mansfield after his gun discharged, while John Wentland, 46, was shot in the foot climbing a fence near Ontario and hospitalized. Charles Layton, 16, died near Cridersville after an accidental shot by his father, the first season fatality in Lima.
Milwaukee dispatch reports the season's first deaths as two hunters died in separate incidents. In Hiles a hunter was killed when his rifle slipped from his hands. Near Owen another hunter was mistaken for a deer and fatally shot.

Mrs Blanche Agnes Williams Heye 50, formerly Blanche Williams, divorced wife of George Gustave Heye, was found dead in her New York apartment. A medical examiner suggested a heart attack may have caused death after water seepage from a burst ceiling prompted investigation. Mr Heye founded the American Anthropological Collections which became the Heye Museum. They married in 1904 and divorced in 1918.
