An angry Cheviot crowd mobbed outside the council chamber after Albert Schmitt 30 was killed when a speeding motorcycle driver allegedly sideswiped him on Boudinot Avenue near Werk Road. Police say a suspect from Elmwood Place planned the attack to aid his companion.
Special Dispatch reports near McGonigles Station Hamilton Ohio two women Mrs Ella Becker 47 and her daughter Miss Henrietta Becker 24 were injured when their car skidded and overturned. Mrs Becker pinned under the scar with a cut over her eye and bruises. Henrietta bruised. They were taken to Mercy Hospital by another car. W Hussey notified police but by the time they arrived the women had been moved.
After a six hour flight, General Mitchell rushed to Rock Point Maryland where Captain Wright, though uninjured, had crash landed a Fokker plane. Mitchell then returned Wright to the city and learned of the Eagle ambulance plane fatal crash on his arrival home.

In Cleveland today fifteen men at a gambling game were lined up and robbed by four armed men. Two spectators who thought a movie scene was being filmed also were robbed as they approached. Police cannot determine the loot or identify participants who refused to report the incident.
The American Commercial Bureau in Vienna has been closed on orders from Washington and its staff withdrawn from the city.
