A Norris resolution seeks Attorney General input to Congress on whether the New York Central system violates Sherman antitrust law by controlling Lake Shore lines and other rail and ship routes. It asks whether the department contemplates dissolution of the combination and was debated in Senate with Reed objecting before adjournment.

An ordinance approved by Cincinnati City Council changes the curb grade for Conant street from Bramble avenue to Adelphi street. It specifies elevations and grade changes along the west and east curb lines, detailing descent and ascent rates and curve sections to establish the new grades.
