Clifford Perin of Cincinnati died in Baltimore as his divorce case revived interest in his marriage to May Clagett in 1893. Berlin May 27 The Tariff Committee of the Reichstag adopted Clauses 245 to 260 of the new tariff bill. A heated debate centered on Clauses 265 to 233 which would grant bread and salts duty free. Conservatives and National Liberals pressed for a 100 mark retaliatory move against the United States, but the amendment was rejected.
