Seeley Davenport and Jacob Dunn of Wharton N J were found guilty by a Federal Grand Jury of sending threats to President elect Woodrow Wilson. Letters demanded 1000 and 5000 dollars under a death penalty and warned of violence if payments were not made.
Six people were killed when a mixed Chesapeake & Ohio train slid 300 feet down a mountain between Sewell and Landisburg after an earlier debris clearing cloudburst.
