Peanut kernel sprout found in five year old’s ear
In Anderson Indiana on May 20 the five year old son of Mr and Mrs John Affort was treated for ear pain. Doctors discovered a peanut kernel had sprouted inside the ear and was growing. After its removal the child ceased to have symptoms.

New York May 20 Three diamonds cut from the Excelsior stone valued at 90000 have disappeared from Tiffany & Co shop in Union Square. Company believes theft by a longtime employee. Ten diamonds were cut from the Excelsior last fall after purchase from an English syndicate. The Excelsior weighed 971 carats in rough and the total of the ten stones was 5090000. The robbery occurred on the fifth floor of the Union Building in the afternoon of May 4.

The horse and wagon passed over him before Frank Ittner found the injured man and rushed him to City Hospital.
