The Brotherhood of Clerks outlines a plan to issue bonds to raise funds to capitalize and operate railway lines. They will press for a 35 percent raise and call a referendum to join telegraphers into their group, aiming to bring order to the organization.
Dan W Richmond of Kansas City, a Western lodge delegate, was relieved from duty by Grand President Forrester and caused an uproar on the convention floor. Ignoring rules he sought recognition during officer nominations and placed his name on the ballot for Vice Grand President without a second.

Mrs John H Towers wife of Commander Towers of the seaplane NC 3 reports her husband is safe at Ponta del Gada in the Azores after a trans Atlantic flight. Secretary Daniels telephoned Mrs Towers and sent congratulations to Towers and crews praising navy traditions. Baker also sent greetings praising the overseas flight triumph.

Chicago May 19 Thomas Westover probably will be released this afternoon. Police had hoped his arrest would solve the study of the $250 000 theft of bonds from the Studebaker corporation. James L Mooney chief of city detectives said he was convinced Westover was the victim of a delusion.
