CHILLICOTHE Ohio May 17 Six years in the penitentiary was the sentence fixed by Judge Goldsberry this afternoon in the case of N L Gartner recently convicted in connection with the wrecking of the Scioto Valley bank of Kingston now defunct Gartner was found guilty on charges of making false entries on the books of the bank of which he was cashier Sentence was suspended for 60 days pending an appeal to the higher courts.
