San Diego Shooter Kills Five Then Ends His Life
William P. Robinson, a housecleaner, roamed San Diego with a rifle knife and revolver, killing five people including W. H. Doddridge and Mrs. Emma Stewart, wounding one, injuring another, and then committing suicide. The spree began at Fourth and A streets and ended when Robinson shot himself in his room after a confrontation at Doddridge’s home.

Two Street Cars Collide Injuring Motorman and Passenger
A collision on the McMicken and Main street line injured Motorman Frank Kinstler and passenger Bertha Foster after a rear brake failure caused one street car to crash into another at McMicken avenue and Hopple street. John Noble, formerly a wealthy Red Lion farmer in Warren County, was captured in Kansas City. A three year sentence followed a prior trial for stealing a herd from John Longstreet. Foreman of Iron Works Victim of Brutal Assault
