Toledo Ohio May 15 the formal work of preparing the grounds for the Ohio Centennial will begin next week by contractor Mr Hussey of New York. The event will be celebrated with fitting ceremonies. Complete harbor dredging and other preparations will not be finished until October 196.
Fifteen guests at the Pullman Hotel in Hot Springs Arkansas fell ill after eating canned lobster salad at supper. Those who ate more were hit hardest with stomach pains before doctors arrived. Cincinnati resident J Back was affected but not severely, while Evansville Indiana furniture maker Mr Nonweiler suffered the worst case. All had recovered by afternoon. Doctors blamed the canned contents for the poisoning.

A Richmond tale reports Mrs. W C Yale, a 50 year old widow from King William County, answered a Milwaukee agency ad and learned a sensational false claim that she was worth 35000 dollars. U S Marshal Treat subpoenaed Yale to testify in Milwaukee as the agency faces charges. The widow received forty five letters from across the country, though she has no such wealth.
