Bawden Affair In Statu Quo Grinds On At Cincinnati University
The Bawden case continues at Cincinnati University as Professor Henry Heath Bawden remains employed and President Dabney silent. A new facet shows Dabney tweaking his chorus from ten to one days, while Bawden expands his poetry and asserts a fight for freedom of thought and speech. A sociology student questions a proletariat in the United States, provoking debate on Plato and democracy and drawing reactions from Catholic observers on marriage and moral teaching.
