Mrs. A. J. Barnes of Seward Nebraska asserts a family claim to Covington Kentucky land where the city center sits. She says an 99 year lease was made to the town’s founders by her grandfather after the War of 1812, but the lease and papers vanished with her uncle Henry Lovington last December.
