Marshal Andrew Wagner of Lockland with Toledo police seek to tie Oliver James Miller a 22 year old carpenter from Reading Ohio to the Toledo clubber who,\ncaused city alarm with numerous assaults on women months ago. Miller confessed to attacks on three Lockland women and was seen after the arrest as well as a prior Mansfield Reformatory sentence for larceny and burglary. Miss Vera Banfield and Miss Ella Berger, both Lockland residents, were assaulted by him on Davis and Patterson streets. Banfield sustained a head bruise and a brick was found on him with her key and 25 cents. A mob captured Miller near the scene. He admitted attacking Mrs Esther Lawson in Kansas City earlier. Miller surrendered after a lengthy manhunt by more than 100 residents.
