He attended Longchamp races with Mrs Wilson and held morning conferences with Clemenceau Lloyd George and Orlando on Austria Hungary Turkey terms. Reports note Armenia may be placed under U.S. oversight. Romania Armenia Turkey terms and Afghan border tensions are also active.

Fifteen people died when a powerful Southwest Texas tornado struck the lower Rio Grande Valley last night. The storm demolished farmhouses and caused extensive crop damage as telegrams from the area reported the disaster.
In Toledo on May 8, the Willys-Overland plant closed after a clash between several hundred strikers and police. Bricks stones and clubs were used as weapons as strikers tried to talk with employees who refused to join the strike. Clarence A. Earl, vice president, ordered the shutdown.
