The May Music Festival at Music Hall delivers a second night of equal brilliance to the opening program. Bohemian Prima Donna was praised by music lovers as Cincinnati society, its gilded audience and generous patronage marking an era of refined gaiety and support for the biennial event.
Last night Mile. Emmy Destinn, premier Bohemian operatic star, debuted before Cincinnati audiences to thunderous applause. Chicago conductor Frederick Stock also made his 1910 debut leading Beethoven Fifth. Mme Mariska Widrich sang as soloist. Mme Aldrich drew mixed notices on return to the stage.
