Countess Alice de Janze and Raymond de Trafford were gravely wounded on a London bound train near Gare du Nord after a jealous quarrel. The Countess, 27, reportedly shot de Trafford and then wounded herself. both were taken to a Paris hospital with uncertain outcomes. Ironton Ohio March 26 complete identification of two men killed in a Crabtree Hollow liquor raid by Constable Vernon Bryant and Deputy Jessie Sutter was made. Moonshiners Henry Kelly 41 and Monroe Sparks 45 died from Bryant bullets. Bryant also died from a heart and shoulder wound. Sutter survived. Identification came via Melvin Kelly. Sparks wore a jacket bearing Melvin Kelly’s initials. Coroner and sheriff investigated.
