Special Dispatch to Commercial Tribune reports Maurice Barrymore died at a sanitarium in Amityville Long Island after years of declining health. Born Herbert Blythe in India, he became a famed stage actor, author, and playwright, married Georgie Drew, and fathered Ethel, John, and Lionel Barrymore.

Traveling salesman commits suicide in Palace Hotel room
Anderson C Ramsay of Fairmont West Virginia shot himself in his hotel room at 4 pm yesterday, dying five hours later. The chambermaid, afraid and injured by a fall near the elevator shaft, fled to raise the alarm as staff arrived. The manager and Dr Grimes attended but could not save him. Continued on Fifth Page.
