Canton Ohio March 24 special dispatch reports Prosecuting Attorney Pomerene has possession of the gun used to shoot George D Saxton by Mrs Anna E George. No weapon was found on her arrest and investigators believe the weapon was discarded in a creek under a culvert on Elgin avenue where Mrs George is known to have traveled.
Henry E. Wick files a suit in Youngstown Ohio seeking $100,000 from the estate of his sister Laura E. Wick claiming a lifetime loan entitles him to a portion of her $400,000 will. The will split the estate between Caleb B. Wick and Rose Wick an adopted daughter.
Dr. Hunter U S Minister to Honduras and Guatemala will depart for his post after a long talk with Secretary Hay. He will present to the Honduran government a U S demand for reparation and indemnity over the American Pears killing during a Honduran disturbance. Rear Admiral Sampson visited Puerto Cortez with his squadron but has not reported to the Navy Department.

Rockefeller as a witness and he testified and produced trust certificate and stock books of the liquidating trustees showing the alleged withdrawal of the Standard of Ohio from the trust. The company later produced Secretary F B Squire and certain books but refused to produce others claiming self incrimination under the Valentine antitrust law. The reply argues Squire waived his constitutional privileges by testifying about other company books.

Mrs Frances Elliott held in feeble condition at the Williams House with an alleged confession regarding the child's father. Preliminary hearing delayed by her condition.
Richard Atwater of Circleville escaped from Columbus State Hospital today. He is described with a King George beard a high collar and a sack coat. He had previously escaped twice before making trips to Pittsburg and Detroit.
In Cleveland March 24 In the Standard Oil investigation before Master Brinsmade Virgil P Kilimne attorney for the defense testified that the company sought a modification of the 1892 dissolution decree while resisting contempt charges. He described meetings with Supreme Court justices and officials and said he asked a four month suspension of enforcement. The hearing adjourned with no further testimony offered.

In Columbus Ohio on March 24 Mr E B Kinkead filed for Attorney General Monnett the States reply in the contempt case against F B Squire Secretary of the Standard Oil Company In his answer Squire claimed neither he nor the company could be compelled to produce books as inquiry might incriminate him and the company The reply states that a Commissioner was appointed to take testimony in the case.
In the Court of Cassation M Ballet de Baupre read a report urging rejection of Mme Dreyfus's bid to exclude three judges. The Public Prosecutor urged granting the application. After deliberation the court rejected the application and fined Mme Dreyfus 100 francs under the civil code.
Acting Governor Worthington pardons Joe Deboard of Johnson County who was serving five years for manslaughter and John Jarrett of Rockcastle County serving three years for the same crime. James Sawyer of Owsley County receives a commutation from ten to five years.
