U S forces seized mail at Calloocan in Luzon showing Aguinaldo and other leaders letters. A key dispatch from Lucena's treasury official cites only 3500 pesos paid to troops and asks for funds, while a provincial governor of Antipolo apologizes for missing the Malolos constitutional ceremony and orders demonstrations of support.
General Otis issued a list of casualties to the War Department dated March 23. It records kills and wounds on March 16 near San Pedro Macati and March 21 near Mariquina and Jaro Panay, naming soldiers from units including the Fifteenth, First Idaho, Eighteenth Infantry, and First Colorado with injuries ranging from gunshot to shrapnel to fractures.

Joseph Hausman, 48, of Variety Iron Works, was found dying in the back yard at 64 Scranton Avenue Cleveland Ohio. Seven head wounds and blood spatter indicate a fierce struggle. He died after being taken to the hospital and police have not made arrests.

Mrs. Anna Humphrey, a domestic, leapt from a second story window to summon officers. The burglars fled with the plunder.
A mob in Little River County Ark. has killed at least seven Black residents in a race driven purge. Victims include General Duckett Edwin Goodwin Adam King Joseph Jones Benjamin Jones Moses Jones and an unknown man. two others were whipped and released.
News from Yazoo County reports an armed mob seized three African Americans C. R. Reed Minor Wilson and Willis Boyd from a law officer. The men were shot fed bullets and weighted with cut ton ties before being sunk in muddy waters.
Charleston March 23. Frank Van Stavern a railroad employee was shot to death yesterday by Policeman Cairns at Hinton. The officer was arrested and jailed but moved to Monroe County Union to prevent lynching by locals and railroad men.
Governor Mount revoked the parole of Augusta Schmidt a female prisoner who refused to accept any liberty unless it freely proclaimed her innocence. Schmidt sentenced to ten years for murder of a Cass County farmer has served four years and held a model record while denying guilt.
Mrs Katherine Shirley of Kansas City asserts she is the daughter of Kate Stokes and widow of John Stetson. A Boston lawyer and a woman detective, hired by alleged Stetson relatives, pursue the case as she seeks recognition of her claim to the $2 000 000 estate.
Columbus Ohio March 23 Chairman Frank McCafferty of the Republican County Central Committee calls a Saturday meeting of delegates and alternates to the State convention. The move supports Judge Nash and John R Malloy. Delegates may back a loyalty resolution to Nash with signatures from most attendees.
