Woman Ends Life Under Tram Near Hyde Park
Mrs Gertrude Seaver, 35, of Observatory Road, Hyde Park, killed herself yesterday morning by jumping in front of a Chicago, Burlington and Quincy traction car at Erie and Grace. Her mother and bystanders witnessed the tragedy. Motorman Joseph Lally was arrested but later released. the coroner viewed the body. Seaver, wife of Bertram Seaver of the telephone company's equipment department, left a 4 year old daughter.
