Mrs Ralph Prebles Keyes, oldest step daughter of Admiral Eaton, says in a statement that her mother was correct in alleging the late Rear Admiral caused the death of her adopted son by poison. She claims Eaton tried to harm her and her sister Dorothy Ainsworth, and that Eaton used drugs, including a narcotic he called hasheesh, while being a heavy drinker with stomach trouble.

Miss Dorothy Eaton signs a statement from Hingham Massachusetts reflecting on her father’s death. She recalls their close bond and describes the undertaker sending for the Navy Yard Commandant to attend the funeral at their home and burial at Oakland Cemetery near Lowell.
Manuel Blanche Alcade publisher of The New Era arrived in San Francisco asserting he can prove Madero was shot and Vice President Suarez strangled in the National Palace on February 23. He described the guard action as a ruse and said bodies were moved to a prison by automobile. He called himself an intimate friend of Madero.
