Evansville Indiana March 15 Mayor Charles G Covert and several cabinet members are abandoning natural gas in their homes due to union membership. In Havana on March 15 Secretary Moody visited shore as a violent squall hit the harbor. Commander Stoney ordered volunteers from the Dolphin to aid capsized boats. Justice Day Condition Improves Amid Pneumonia

Washington March 15 Justice Day of the Supreme Court remains in favorable condition despite pneumonia. Attending physician Dr B L Hardin consulted with Dr William Osler of Johns Hopkins University and issued a bulletin stating Justice Day's condition is good with no extension of the pneumonia.

Woman outlaw captured after posing as man in Nebraska band

Special Despatch reports a band of six thieves including cattle rustlers and train robbers terrorizing Nebraska and Wyoming. A captured woman, about 40, wearing cowboy dress, allegedly led the gang with most others being women. she denies participation in crimes though claims threats and coercion. The case links to a Sioux killing and a train hold-up near Fremont.

Death Came Like a Bolt From the Sky in Tragic Shot

Six year old Henry Rippe was killed by a head wound from a bullet while playing with his sister at Bank street and Turner alley. Police traced the shooting but found no gun reports, with one neighbor hearing three shots and a woman suggesting boys fired a Fiobert rifle. The victim lived at 2110 Turner alley. father Henry Rippe, a locksmith. The coroner and Fifth District police pursued leads as the boy died at City Hospital an hour after the incident.
