A jury report accuses authorities of a reign of terror with 99 indictments for riots, 55 counts involve a Day leader allegedly hired by the Klan. The document alleges beatings robberies and imprisonments without due process during clashes, outlining widespread abuses.
Ninety nine indictments are returned by a special grand jury in Herrin Illinois. The panel accuses S Glenn Young of Klan leadership and four others of assault murder and kidnapping linked to February riots. The report blames a reign of terror by the Klan from February 8 to 9 and notes National Guard troops were needed to restore order.
A special committee of international jurists backed the League of Nations power to use its machinery for peaceful settlement of disputes. The report stopped short of ruling whether force, to obtain satisfaction, violates the covenant, leaving Uruguay and Sweden dissatisfied. The issue arose from the Corfu crisis amid tensions between Italy and Greece.

Toledo report says Juvenile Court officers uncovered a theft club of boys aged 10 to 15 near Trilby Lucas County. Members were required to steal two parts from cars not owned by their families. Authorities seek the mastermind and also found girls in Maumee looting candy shops for small items.
San Salvador reports the seventy two hour armistice arranged by the diplomatic corps in Tegucigalpa has ended and revolutionists have occupied the Honduran capital.

A federal jury found Fire Captain Otto M. Cermak guilty of illegal drug sale after two hours of deliberation. He received six months in the Dayton Workhouse. A motion for a new trial was denied and an appeal was noted by defense counsel.
Coast guardsmen at Madaket Station on Nantucket Island discover wreckage from the six masted schooner Wyoming of Portland bound from Norfolk to St John with coal. No bodies found along shore. suspected loss of about twenty lives. Wyoming, 3730 tons gross, built in Bath, Maine in 1909, commanded by Captain Charles Glaesil with a crew of fifteen.

In Cleveland in March 1913 an eleven year old girl Anna Webber was saved from a fatal fire when flames ignited her nightgown near a gas stove. Her mother Mrs Webber rolled the child in a rug to smother the flames and suffered burn injuries to the hands.
