Denver gunman kills in siege after lethal lawsuit dispute
George Schistler, enraged by a defeat in a lawsuit against K. Fill, opened fire on the Fill home in Denver. Three people died, including Mrs. Fill, and a child was missing as Schistler barricaded himself in a hay fort and fought police in a long gun battle before dying. Officers Dulin and Bohanna were wounded, and another officer was lightly hurt as the siege ended with Schistler dead.
