Two Children perished Mother in Hospital Fire Tragedy
A fire in a Broad Street home killed two children and left their mother severely burned. Edward Tolley forced a window to reach the smoke filled room and rescue the babies but Lawrence, aged three, died at the scene, while Albert Edward, five months, died later at General Hospital. The mother, Mrs Chester Setters, 254 Broad street, suffered hysteria and facial burns. Property damage was about 50 dollars.
