Washington March 8 The Santo Domingo treaty was practically perfected today by the Senate Committee on Foreign Relations in phrasing and a vote was set for 11:30 a.m. tomorrow to decide if the report will favor ratification or rejection. Further details on the report were not available.
The case of the Government against Mrs Chadwick was completed this afternoon in Cleveland. One defense witness, an expert accountant, was sworn but an adjournment was taken until tomorrow morning before testimony. The session focused on character evidence, bank deposits, and two letters from Mrs Chadwick to Beckwith and Spear.
