In Nantes France Marcel Redureau a 15 year old who killed seven people with an ax last September was found guilty and sentenced to twenty years the maximum by law. The boy a vine cutter killed a quarrelsome employer and four others in Basbriage-en-Landreau. He wept as he heard the verdict.
Special Dispatch to Commercial Tribune Cleveland March 4 W B Tiffany head of Tiffanys dancing academy Wuclid avenue is under arrest for assault after a 19 year old maid Mary Dinskey was found clinging to a window sill fifty feet above the street in Tiffanys rooms. Police rescued her and Tiffany was found hiding in a closet a mob followed police into the building and was clubbed by officers Tiffany denies the charges.
In New York on March 4, it was revealed that the Metropolitan Museum of Art has enacted an unusually thorough protection plan for the $50,000,000 Morgan collection on view. Fifty armed watchmen and two police detectives lead a specialized security force to prevent thefts akin to past Mona Lisa and Colonna Madonna incidents.
Boston March 4 Governor Waisa sent a special message to the Legislature announcing he would refuse a raise from 6000 to 12000 a year. He concedes the current pay is inadequate but argues the election verdict forms a binding contract with the people at a fixed sum.
In South Bend Indiana Colonel Joseph M Sullivan a leading local Democrat and hotel owner was arrested by the Sheriff on charges of passing bribe money to Chief of Detectives John Kuespert to obtain protection in evading liquor laws.
Mrs Sara T Drukker 62 wife of a Cincinnati firm partner arrived with her husband and daughter in Battle Creek where she leaped from the third floor of the main building sustaining fatal injuries. Relatives loss caused a breakdown and a nurse restrained another distraught attempt to act.
In Columbia South Carolina March 4 the House session turned chaotic as Governor Blease entered to respond to W F Stevenson remarks on the asylum probe. A clash with Representative N B Barnwell led to restrained action and the Governor removing his coat amid disorder and mounting tensions.
Madeleine-Suzanne, the French Siamese twins, were separated in Paris today in a delicate surgery. Dr. Gustave Le Filliatre Dr. Risacher and Dr. Victor de Launay led the effort with assisting surgeons. Both children withstood the operation though final success remains uncertain.

Of these, 38 293 are residents, 12 774 skilled workers, 32 278 foreign born, 32 812 honestly seeking work. February city assignments show 1 770 sent to work and 725 failed to report, with 43 arrested for accepting car tickets under false pretenses.
