Frank Simpson a 25 year old miner seized a saloon in Central City last week then fled to South Carrollton firing at bystanders before police cornered him in an old Silver Creek Mines house. Facing charges could keep him jailed fifty years if convicted.
Indianapolis March 1 Thornton Stansfield 18, son of Dr Stansfield Meridian Street Church pastor, who disappeared Tuesday, was found this afternoon at Josiah Millikan's home in Saginaw Michigan. City searches and a mayoral proclamation spurred a wide hunt over 100 miles radius. The boy offered no reason for leaving.
A Kansas City jury ruled in favor of Annie B. Wood and other Silas Armstrong heirs in a $1,000,000 Missouri River land case against Armour & Fowler and others. Appeals were filed and potential losses could include Armour Packing Company, Hannibal & St. Joseph Railroad, and Rock Island Railroad. The 85 acre tract, once an island, traced back to Wyandotte Indian Silas Armstrong with river-channel changes shaping the dispute.
The former Crown Princess of Sagony landed at Lindau on Lake Constance and met her mother. She will reside at her husband’s chateau there for the birth of her child.

Edwin L. Burdick was killed at his Ashland avenue home last Thursday night and buried today at his former Canastota residence after a brief service. Alger Hall eleven year old son of Br. Co. A. Hall in Cleveland was reported kidnapped a week earlier. The boy telephoned his father saying he was at the Forest City House. His mother had taken him to Detroit last week and an aunt later recovered him. Custody had been granted to the father a year ago.
