Rheinhold Kolodzik, 20, of 3028 Marshall Avenue, died from a chest wound when his brother Herbert, 25, of 1682 Wilstach Street, fired a .32-caliber automatic during a family gathering. Police say the shooting was accidental. Also present were Oliver Ritsch, 15, and Anthony Weber, 15, who had been working on Rheinhold’s car at Herbert’s home. Rheinhold, his parents Mr and Mrs John Kolodzik, and the two youths were at Herbert’s house when the weapon was shown and fired. Rheinhold died at St Mary’s Hospital. Herbert was questioned by detectives and released with the accident ruling.
