Parson Grows Belligerent Threats Judge Arrested in Dublin
Rev. P. S. Cook of Dublin Indiana became boisterous in the streets threatening to whip the marshal and other citizens. He was arrested, sang and prayed in jail, and fined 483 dollars. A fifty year minister, he was recently dismissed from the I. O. O. F. Lodge for intemperance.

No Currency Commission Pushed This Session
Washington June 18 The President will not seek authority to appoint a Currency Commission this session. Republican Senate leaders say it would be useless to present the question as silver Senators oppose the measure and could cause delay. If no change occurs, the President will let the matter pass until next winter.
