Boy Bound Over In Attempted Trainwrecking Case
Greensburg Indiana June 10 A 15 year old boy was bound over to the September term of circuit court on a charge of attempting to wreck a Big Four east bound train about two miles west of Jetty. Cordell and Frank Watts were fishing along Muddy Fork when authorities say they placed a gravel box on the track and hid in a corn crib to watch the train knock it off the rail. The engineer spotted the obstruction and halted the train in time. The boys deny intent to wreck the train. Watts was not arrested due to his youth.
