Mr Rooster’s famine store and the sly Whistler
In a drought a village of birds relies on Mr Rooster who runs a high priced store at the woods edge. The crow hawk and owl watch deceitful credit while Whistler bullies his way to free food by mimicking voices, growing fat as others starve. After rain returns, bills reveal overcharges sparking anger and a dispute over debts.
