Sacramento July 25 The Sacramento Bee says District Attorney Charles M Fickert asked Governor Stephens to release the communication he received from President Wilson about the Thomas J Mooney case He accuses the mediation commission of bias and cites Felix Frankfurter remarks claiming the President wanted to punish radicals in the United States Mooney was convicted for the Preparedness Day bombing in San Francisco July 22 1916 which killed ten and wounded forty Mooney awaits execution August 23 after court appeals failed and clemency has been sought.
