In Dayton Ohio this morning a smooth thief robbed City National Bank by asking to exchange 14 Canadian dollars for US currency. Teller Walter W. Bishop gave him 13.30, then the man used ankle‑plated tongs to grab a bundle of about $1,000 and fled. The incident happened with the teller briefly turned away.
