Bus Crash Snaps West Liberty Family Moving to Middletown
An eight year old boy died and twelve people were injured when a West Liberty Middletown bus overturned after a sedan crossed the road north of Sharonville on the Cincinnati Dayton pike. Billy Cole died. injuries included fractured skulls and broken ribs among several passengers. Police judge Short and others accompanied the Coles, who were relocating.

George E. Mills former Norwood mayor and Hamilton County Democratic Club president was appointed Judge of the First District Court of Appeals by Gov. Donahey to succeed the late Judge Robert Z. Buchwalter. Mills will travel to Columbus next week for his commission. the appointment ends a weeklong Democratic contest among Baker Stanley Matthews Philip Cohen and Murray Shoemaker. Mills, an authority on evidence, previously led a Cincinnati gas rates watchdog group, has 32 years in practice, was Yale educated in 1893, and served as Norwood mayor 1901 to 1906. He is vice president of the Cincinnati Bar Association and a member of the Lawyers’ Club.

Luther H. Cameron 39 of Memphis Tennessee district manager for Remington Typewriter Company was seriously injured when an automatic pistol discharged in his hotel room at the Gibson shortly after noon. A bullet pierced his left side and lodged in the ceiling after passing through his suitcase. Cameron told doctors he planned to ask his wife to join him in Cincinnati.

The Tuchfarber family home at Boudinot and Mozart avenues in Westwood, once a showplace garden and playground, is expected to become a public park after the death yesterday of 77 year old Mrs Nettie Tuchfarber in New York. Park Board officials will seek agreement with Mrs Emery who owns the property through her agent. Funeral services for Mrs Tuchfarber will be held tomorrow at the Pfeffer home with burial in Spring Grove Cemetery.

A man about 45 in a black and gray shirt and dark trousers was found floating in the Ohio River at Central Avenue.
