A Silent Thief Robs Dayton Saloon Keeper of $900
William Britton Sr. owner of a Dayton saloon at First and Main near the Grand Opera House was robbed of 900 dollars this afternoon. He had placed a canvas bag with 500 in ten dollar bills 300 in five dollar bills and 100 in silver in a desk drawer and locked it. When he returned an hour later the bag was missing though he and his son were within thirty feet and heard nothing.
