Heavy rain washed out a sand hill causing a Southern railway passenger train to derail near Princeton Indiana. Fireman William Finney 81 died. Engineer Elmer Reeves 50 was injured. other victims included J C Stone M E Calkins Mrs Lillie Miskell and her three year old child. The westbound train derailed after a slide on a curved track.
