Man Found Dying After Stabbing in Transit Route
Richard Wells a 35 year old cooper was found with a deep stab wound in the roadway at Sixth and Delhi pike early this morning. He died in an ambulance en route to city hospital. Patrolman Schaffer found him and a possible suspect fled after an evening with Wells at Manhattan park. Wells lived on Mississippi avenue and was described as well regarded. The investigating police have a description of a man seen with Wells at the park who may be the assailant.
