Plymouth wreck victims improve

Bulletin from Salisbury infirmary says most patients injured in the Plymouth special railway wreck on July 1 are progressing favorably. Robert S. Critchell of Chicago remains in grave condition while Edward W. Sentell of Brooklyn is likely to recover. Mrs A S Coburn and Mrs A S Critchell show improvement. Mrs Critchell arrived after hearing the news. Several Salisbury women offered shelter to Mrs Critchell.

Shaw Appeals to Banks Amid Denomination Push

Secretary Shaw issued an appeal to National banks to help meet the demand for small denomination notes. He asked banks to issue as many five dollar bills as possible, arguing higher profit from small notes than larger denominations.
