Ashland Ky January 29 1901 William Gibson the fiend who torched to death his three year old stepdaughter on November 28 1900 was indicted for wilful murder by the grand jury. About 500 men gathered at Catlettsburg as Gibson arrived under guard and a trial was scheduled for the next morning with attorney J B Williams appointed. Gibson’s wife remains in Kenova W Va and may not return.
